“Find Me!”

Those are the words on the note crumpled in Laney Donohue’s disabled sister’s hand. All Laney knows is that the young nurse aid who wrote them was last seen leaving with a man, and no one stopped him. Laney owes this young woman. She cared for Laney's sister when Laney couldn't. Now she's disappeared without trace. Laney intends to find out why.

Meanwhile, it’s Elizabeth McClaine’s birthday. Or it would be if her PA had gotten the date right. So what better time to leave her unwanted party than when the call comes telling her a client of her charitable foundation has been found beaten and left cowering in a closet, her nurse aid missing.

But from the moment Elizabeth asks the first question, it’s obvious someone out there is hell-bent on stopping her. And when the trail left by Laney Donohue leads to the brothels and casinos of an organized crime syndicate two states away, Elizabeth must pit her wits against the brilliant and ruthless crime boss to save her. The problem is…

…he already knows she’s coming.

A gripping thriller that will have you guessing to the very last page.

This was a very on the edge of your seat read. Laney Donahue is released from prison and goes to see her sister Kimmy at Sunny Springs a facility for the disabled. Laney sees that her sister's room is a mess and her sister is in the closet with bruises on her; so Laney removes her sister from the facility and takes her to their Aunt Janelles home. Laney finds a note in Kimmy's hand that says FIND ME. The note was written by Wendy the nurses aide who was taking very good care of Kimmy. Kimmy keeps calling out for Wendy so this sets a path for Lane to go and try to find her. Meanwhile Elizabeth McClaine who heads the trust for the facility is trying to find out what is going on and goes looking for Laney. There is a force trying to stop these two women in their quest to finding the truth. Their is crime, murder and twists that myou will never see coming.

MARY JANE CLARK on Goodreads wrote:

This third in the series is again concerned with those vulnerable people who are loved very much by their relatives. Venturing into the world of Albanian mobsters involved in human trafficking, shady business practices, blackmail, murder and extortion, the story moves along briskly. Elizabeth is a bit of an unlikely heroine but, hey, she has a good heart. Looking forward to Number 4.
