How much is he willing to give up for her?
It would be too easy for Alison Henley to fall for children's book author Joe Burgett. Joe feels the same way about Alison, but Alison has a baby named Maggie, and Maggie has special needs. Is Joe ready to be her father?
Sara Holland on Amazon wrote:I love this story and have for years! I have had a much read and re-read paper version for many years and was delighted when it came out on kindle. The story is wonderfully written. I love Joe and Allison, and Maggie is precious. This book taught me a lot about some the difficulties faced by families with Downs syndrome. One of my favorite parts of the book was the Binkley Brothers stories, which are great. I wish there was a book of those stories -- I'd certainly buy that book as well. You can't miss with this book!
I enjoyed this book although I don't like to read about children with serious problems in my romance novels. I know. I know. I'm shallow when I seek escape. It's just that life has real problems and I don't read romance to encounter real problems. Still Eileen Dreyer is a great storyteller and I enjoyed the book.
