Natalie Drake certainly has her hands full with raising a large family, dealing with her difficult mother, and maintaining a relationship with her rebellious teenager. But when she's called to be the Relief Society president and finds out she's pregnant as well, Natalie must learn to trust in a plan that isn't what she imagined and discover that every situation has an upside.

I couldn't put this book down. It was a great read. Natalie becomes Relief Society President and feels overwhelmed with that and raising 6 kids. Then, she finds out she's pregnant with her 7th. Natalie continues to face challenges as the book goes on. I don't want to give spoilers...

This book was very well written. I really enjoyed it.

Annaliese Lemmon on Goodreads wrote:

I went into this knowing that the author was the mother of a son with Down's Syndrome and that the book dealt with a mother learning her child had Down's Syndrome. So I expected the book to be about dealing with the challenges and changing expectations that come with that.

So I was surprised that the mother doesn't even learn that she's pregnant until 1/3 of the way through the book, and then doesn't learn that the baby has Down's until over 70% of the way through. Not including the epilogue, the book only goes until the baby is 10 days old, which is only enough time for the mother to accept that her child has special needs. Which is nice, but I wanted so much more.
